if you have read the first two books this will be enjoyable if not, it would still be enjoyable, just not as much Cormac is our greatest living writer, as soon as we all understand that we can move forward

this is a great read the whole book through, taking the central characters from the previous two books of the Border trilogy allows us to see their unique points of view while holding down similar positions in life, John Grady Cole is a true American archetype hilarious with some heartbreak, typical Cormac
