The characters in Haigh's novel are wonderfully imperfect and multifaceted. The storyline is unpredictable in the best way. Once I got into Faith: A Novel, I found it very difficult to put down. I strongly, strongly recommend this work. Without a doubt this was one of the best books I read in 2011.

This genre-defying book by Jennifer Egan is a revelatory read. I don't really know how to describe it, or how to explain the plot, I've just been recommending it to everyone I know. It's definitely one of my favorite books of 2010 and cemented her as one of my favorite authors.
