Five Book Friday: In Memoriam
(0 comment)
Every year, the booksellers at Powell’s submit their Top Fives: their five favorite books that were released in 2023. I highly recommend digging into the recommendations — we would never lead you astray — but today...

End Your Addiction Now: The Proven Nutritional Supplement Program That Can Set You Free
by
Charles Gant and Greg Lewis
Wren Osborn
, May 28, 2013
End Your Addiction Now works. Remarkably, the program helped my nephew, an alcoholic for 20 years, lose his craving for alcohol in five days. What is even more remarkable--he accomplished that without being able to take all the recommended nutrients because he had severely damaged his liver by heavy daily drinking, I was so impressed I ordered three more copies of End Your Addiction Now for relatives and friends who also want to lose their addictions. I might mention that my nephew had been through three standard recovery programs without lasting success and never once lost his craving for alcohol. I might also mention that he knows he needs to continue with Dr. Gant's recommendations in order to be alcohol free without fighting powerful cravings. .

Silly Sally

Silly Sally was one of my granddaughter's favorite books. I never tired of reading her this book with its catchy rhymes, a heroine who does things differently, and attractive, colorful illustrations. It's now my favorite gift to young children. And, I might add, it becomes one of their favorite books.
