Five Book Friday: In Memoriam
(0 comment)

Words can't really describe how much I loved this book. I want to buy it for everyone I know and sit and wait until they read it so we can talk about it. So many messages - look beyond the surface; don't let your past dictate your life's path; friendship is one of the most powerful forces on Earth; moments of startling beauty can exist in the midst of cripping despair; but mosty, let your true self be known. It's really an amazing read. I can understand why a psychotherapist in Paris presribes this book for his clients. It's a game-changer.

I loved this book so much I would have enjoyed reading the 1,400 page first draft. I'm hoping for the future release of an "anniversary edition" with some additional material -- particularly on Beverly. Her story knocked the wind out of me.
