I loved this book! I believe it is a love letter to physicians and medicine in general. It is also a page turning coming of age story which is set in a unique point of African history. I could say a lot more about what I love in this book. I look forward to hearing the author speak this spring.

Wonderful, dense, but funny novel packed with detail and cultural references that speak to my generation.
