I hate to say it, but the book is so much better than the movie! If you've seen the movie, go ahead and read the book, it's just as good!

This book had a huge twist! I had no idea how it would end up, but I liked it a lot! If you haven't read it already, then read it! It's pretty original and cool.

I always expected this book to be boring, but it wasn't. Hattie shows a lot of determination in keeping her Uncle's claim. There are a lot of interesting characters also, I really liked it!

I avoided this book for a long time, because the cover was kinda...girly. But, as the saying goes, don't judge a book by it's cover! This book was really good, once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down! And once the final word was read, I ran to the computer and ordered the rest of the trilogy! Don't be fooled by the cover, this is a really good book!

This is a great book, it's long and has a great story line. Could have used a little bit more action, but all in all it was very Piratical! :P

You will connect with the little stray puppy from the instant you read about him. He is a hero dog, but he doesn't have super powers. The ending is so happy it will make you cry. :D

This book starts off Tricia's adventures in Horse racing and becoming a professional jockey. Anyone who loves the Thoroughbred series will really like these! The first book is really sad, as she suffers a great loss, but the whole series is great and packed full of horses!

Running Out Of Time
by
Margaret Pet Haddix
Hillbillydoggy
, October 10, 2008
Jessie lives in the year 1840 , a simple time. Horses and wagons, lye soap, one room school houses and blacksmithing are all part of Jessie's life. But when an outbreak of diphtheria in her frontier village puts everyone in danger of dying, Jessie finds out that she alone may be the key to saving the whole town. And oh, by the way, it hasn't been the year 1840 in 156 years. This is a mind blowing book that is gripping and adventurous at the same time.

Framed for things he didn't do. Turned against his mother by his low life stepdad. Kidnapped and taken to who knows where. Could things get any worse? Oz is about the find out... This is such a great book, it has lots of suspense and an ending that ties everything together.

One of the best books I've ever read! I didn't expect the book to be packed with so much action ! It's a great story, one that I could read again and again. (Believe me, I have.) If I was abandoned on an island with only a few items to choose from, I'd choose water, food and this cool book. :D
