Five Book Friday: In Memoriam
(0 comment)

This story is about a male teacher in a private school in New York. One of his students is hitting on him, he's got a thing for the unattainable school librarian, he's taking professional advice from one of his star students, and nothing seems to be working out right. Read it for the great literary references (he teaches Jane Austin!) and romantic comedy, or maybe just because you?re curious what REALLY goes on in those private high schools...

This book is written entirely as IMs (instant messages) between 3 best friends that are juniors in high school. It is an incredibly creative and modern format for writing a book. I suggest reading it even if you don?t think you?ll be interested in the goings on of high school girls, just for the sheer fun of the slang and format! :)
