A profoundly deep and painfully depicted story of the touching, intermingling, and joining of human lives in a land where the very essence of life itself is at a premium. The intricate detail and trail of this story never ceases to amaze, no-- astound.

This book is eloquently written, its character development accomplished with depth and sensitivity. It brings the Civil Rights movement from textbook to reality.

To enter the mind of a dog for a time--- to see the intricacies of the human plight through his eyes-- This book offers this opportunity, and with it a whole new perspective on a story of human struggle and best intended endeavors. A must read for all who wish to have a glimpse life from a new viewpoint, as well as those who simply wonder -- 'what could that dog be thinking?'

Here If You Need Me: A True Story

This book offers such an important and meaningful paradigm for 'going on ' after life seemingly comes apart. The author's style is direct but comforting, realistic without seeming cold. It could be required reading for anyone involved in the process of losing or re-defining the direction for their life.
