The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

For purely sensational reading The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo captured my interest from the get go. It started off with a blast and continued that way throughout. The twisting story was intriguing and the "good old boy politics" and senses of justice played out leaving me frightened and gasping for more of reading about people who must satisfy their curiosity by whatever means it takes. The 24 year old Lisbeth Salander is the brilliant genius who most of us long to be like. She is tough, smart, and when she takes the advanage she so rightly deserves you want to yell, "Yes, Girl, Go!" The second book was fantastic and I can hardly wait until the third one in the series hits the shelves in the States. Standing in line for a thriller like this would be a pleasure! "GO, Salander, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, GO!!! I think this is the best book of the last decade.

A powerful saga with compassion and integrity intermingled with medicine, love so strong it can withstand war and family history. Engrossing.
