This has to be one of my all time favorite books. Though sad at some points it always manages to lift you back up again wanting more. I would recomend this book to anyone who will listen.

Downsiders

I'm thirteen and our teacher forced our grade to read this book in class. Yes, it does leave some thought provoking questions but I think at my age i could be reading harder books especially in class. In my opinion, the books characters are a little two-deminsonal and the story uses a lot of clichés like Lindsay's "evil" stepbrother. This book had a chance to be really great but ended up bing a just average read for for the lonely ten year old who dreams of being taken to a secret society below her feet.
