Her Mothers Hope Martas Legacy
by

Francine Rivers is one of my favorite authors and this book did not disappoint. Marta was raised by a very hard man and can't wait to leave. So many times he tries to pull her back in. But she is determined to succeed. She has a lot of sadness in her life and it is amazing to watch her overcome.

This book touched me in a way no book has in a long time. The mother in this book thought she had it all together, just to find out that one thing can change everything. I saw myself in the mother and the daughter, and even think it explained to me some stuff I went through as a teen at home with my parent's.
