One of my all time favs. Rich and deeply engrossing story of a girl destined to become a Geisha, never wanted it to end. Wished it were the actual true story or a real person and some say it was, but just fiction, well written.

Read when I was a teenager and twice since. One of only a few books I enjoyed enough to read again....and again. Great book, hard to put down.

One of my favorites of all time and I am an avid reader. You become lost in her time, you are there with her throughout this book and it is a touching, sad and wonderful journey through the eyes of one of the most memorable fictional characters ever written about. Very hard to put this one down.

Christopher Moore is one of the funniest and clever writers of our time. This is one of my favorites, as well as Island of the Sequined Love Nun. Both are hysterical and worth a read.
