Death of a Red Heroine
by
Xiaolong Qiu
Eileen Kane
, January 04, 2010
Xiaolong writes beautifully, capturing life in contemporary China for young, upwardly mobile professionals. His characters are all very real and the plot involves social and political conflicts existing today. I didn't realize I had learned so much until I had finished the novel!
