I'm Going to Be a Dad: Now What?: Everything You Need to Know about First-Time Fatherhood
by
Craig Baird

From time you first find out your going to be a dad to the point where your child makes their grand entrance in the world, there’s so much to learn along the way. This book seems to have it all covered. In fact much of the material, I never would have even thought about. I‘m actually on the road to fatherhood myself and this guide has and will continue to be a map to me along the way. From an emotional standpoint that both the mother and father face, as well as communication, physical changes, eating habits, this book touches on everything, even loss (though miscarriage, etc.) and the physiological implications of that. Mixed with humor and practical advice about everything from your feelings to food and baby names, this book is a must read for anyone who’s approaching fatherhood. I give it five stars.

How to Open & Operate a Financially Successful Landscaping, Nursery, or Lawn Service Business [With CDROM]

At first glance I didn’t think this book looked all that impressive, but after taking a closer look, I found I was wrong. I’ve always enjoyed landscaping and this book’s got all the bases covered. I was surprised, first of all, by how easy it was to read. The layout of the book was easy to follow as well. I found the step-by-step process a great help in determining right off if pursuing a landscaping business was right for me (everything is divided up into six simple sections for easy reference). Most of all, the case studies of actual real life people were a benefit. And the business plan process will be a great help in my brainstorming. I don’t know if landscaping is right for me, but I do know that this book had opened my eyes to a lot of aspects I never could have even considered on my own, I give it Five stars! It’s a must read if you’re thinking about going into business for yourself! It provides all the details you’ll ever need, -from A-Z!

Complete Guide to Wikis How to Set Up Use & Benefit from Wikis for Teachers Business Professionals Families & Friends
by
Chatfield, T. Brian

Never would I have imagined that a whole entire book could be written about Wikis, but I guess anything’s possible. First off, I now know what a wiki actually is (defined in book) and the history of them (unless of course you’re a cave dweller without the iPhone app or internet access, you’ve probably at least heard of Wikipedia). The internet can be a complicated place. This book has really helped me in maneuvering through the web and understanding so many different aspects of Wikis; like how to add to them, edit them, write my own, etc. Without the insight I receive though this easy read, I would never have even know where to start. If you’d like to get a full grasp on everything “Wiki” then this is the book for you. If not, and you like to figure stuff out on your own, well, good luck. with that! Overall, I give this book 4 stars. The part where symbols and codes are defined (the style guide) I thought was particularly insightful.
