Chronicles of Prydain 01 Book Of Three

The Book of Three: Review Great Read. This wonderful story is about a young man by the name of Taran. He is nothing but a simple assistant pig-keeper, until one of the pigs runs away and Taran is compelled to go search for her. From this treacherous journey Taran meets new people and becomes a complete different person. I enjoyed reading this book because of the author's style of writing. I like how he includes cliffhangers in his books that convinces you to read on and never put it down. I also enjoyed the detailed descriptions that help set the mood of the book and allow the reader to enjoy the book that much more. I recommend this story to someone who loves fantasy and doesn't mind the time of the middle ages. The main theme that ties the story together is that anyone can be a hero no matter how big or powerful you are. I have to warn you though, immediatiley when you pick this great book up you will not put it down.

Brians Saga 01 Hatchet

Gary Paulsen

Hatchet: Review Can you imagine crashing a plane in the middle of the canadian wilderness, with only scraps of metal from the plane and a hatchet to keep you alive? Well, this is what happened to Brian Robenson, but did he survive the brutal wild? This action packed book won't disappoint you, it's filled with cliffhangors, description of the character's feelings and most of all suspense. Page by Page this excellent adventure novel will continue to get better and you will gain excitement, gauranteed. The main reason I loved this novel was because it's short and sweet. Gary Paulsen does an excellent job by packing action into a short story, however it is well balanced between action and survival. Gary Paulsen's books are very addicting, so if your up for it I dare you to take a peek into it, because once you do you will be hooked.

Rumble Fish
by
S E Hinton

Rumble fish: Review What has a crowd of dangerous people, is deadly, and most of all, sinister? That's right it's a gang, out looking for trouble. Rumble fish is a story about a teenaged boy ("Rusty" James) that has taken the position of his brother the "motorcycle boy." This position is the leader of a gang that has gone out of control, and his brother teaches him a very valuable lesson that could possibly change his life. This was a fantastic book, especially for someone who likes violence, suspense, and an overall great read. The author placed many messages in this book but the one that struck me the most repeatedly was, it's alright to be different from others because your ideas and thoughts can only benefit eachother. This message was very clear in my mind and that's the main reason why I enjoyed reading this wonderful classic.
