Wolff's story made me laugh out loud, in public, more times then I can count. Her father and life is one-of-a-kind.

Darkly Dreaming Dexter Dexter 01

I adored this book and its sequel. Dexter is primal and complex. He lives in an entirely different place than the rest of us, and he appeals to a part of me that wishes I could do away with all the bad people in the world... without being a sociopath, of course. The Showtime series has done this book justice, with only a handful of minor changes. Buy the book then rent the DVD's. You won't regret it!
