Honestly may be Child's best Reacher book ever. Probably due to the addition all the old gang. And the plot which makes him seem a bit more vulnerable than ususal.

Real Murders

Charlaine Harris

Some would call it a bit dated, while others would say it is a classic. All-in-all I found that these Teagarden mysteries stand the test of time. They remind me of Jeff Abbott's early Southern mysteries. Enjoyable because the heroine conforms enought to the type of Harris' other fameous series.

Wife for Hire

Janet Evanovich

Although this Loveswept series by Evanovich is very predictable, containing as it does so many prototype characters for her extensive Numbers series, it is still LOL funny. This is one of the better of them. Due mostly to the primordial Grandma Mazur character.

First Eagle

One of the best Jim Chee mysteries I've ever read. It really give you an idea of how he balances his spiritual live and duties. Hillerman outdoes himself with wonderful and varied treatment of characters' motives in general. Even though they often aren't as honourable as Chee's.

Stone Cold

This book was too disturbing for me. One can see why such a strong theme was picked for the prestigious Carnegie Medal Award, though.

Classic serial fiction in affordable and easy-to-read size. Collegiate Buffy struggles to right her past mistakes which have allowed exotic vampires to take over Southern California. With help from an unexpected quarter she fights to rectify them in time.
