I knew after reading the first two chapters that I would cry at the end. This was a magnificent book, where the storyteller is a dog. I also laughed out loud in many parts of the book. This is a great book for dog lovers who realize how important their pets are.

This book was very poignant and showed how cruel high school years can be - especially when your "friends" don't know the whole story. I think every HS student should have to read this, and maybe it would be something that would make them think about things in a new light. I felt like I was thinking everything Melinda was thinking, while trying to just make it through the day. Highly recommended.
