This book is wildly entertaining, yet still poignant and philosophical.

This is an old book and I read it several years ago, but it stays on my mind. I rarely read nonfiction, but this book flows like fictional black comedy. The characters are hilarious and the ending is a real shocker. It's an outrageous, fun read, especially for residents of the Pacific Northwest.

Wow! What an original construction. The story connects perfectly through time, loops and all. I picture Ms. Egan with a giant chart on the wall. Plus, there are many quotable observations.
