I have always believed in wonder and magic and The Snow Child has reaffirmed my sentiment. It is a story of love, what we consider our family, and the trials that this love and family may bring about in our lives. It brought an enchantment into my life while reading this lovely tale and I was sorry that it had to end.

A riveting encounter with a unlikely tale beyond normal and everyday comprehension bringing the reader into an enchanted world of magic, love and suspense. I could not put the book down until finished - then was sad and lost for days without this alternate existence.

Reading the The Gift of Rain brought me to another place and time. I loved the characters and the explosive issues that the time of WWII brought about in conflict of emotions, duty, and love. A great book always lingers in my mind long after the last page is read.
