Ford County Stories

What an amazing collection of short stories - all tied together by their geography. John Grisham's ability to write nine such diverse, meaningful and entertaining stories that all take place within the same county and are intermingled with the same Southern "flavor", was both remarkable and highly enjoyable. I've never been a "short stories" fan, but this collection has absolutely changed my viewpoint.

Although a bit darker than I had anticipated, this is a well-written and thought-provoking story of a troubled family of men. Their individual struggles with war-time military service and how it has affected their current lives and relationships with one another kept me turning page after page.
