Beautifully written prose to tell a gentle story full of love, family, humor and sadness, broken dreams and dreams that soar. Worth a second reading.

Education Of Little Tree
by

This story had me chuckling and sniffling - for all that is best and worst in humankind. It made me glad to have roots that resembled those of Little Tree - family ties that were knotted in love. As any truly great story does, this one illumined parts of my own life in new ways.

This story hits on so many levels - dark humor, despair, victory, life and death delivered as only Terry Pratchett can. Every time I read it, I pick out something new.

This book hits on so many different themes - duty to society, family, friends. It is my favorite by Terry Pratchett and gives an inkling as to why Veterans take anniversaries so seriously - they did the job they didn't have to do.

It was interesting to read this book now in 2008 and see how much or little has changed in today's Afghanistan. It seems humans like to fight the same battles over and over again.

Birth Order Book Why You Are the Way You Are
by
Kevin Leman

So much of what I read in this was right on. I recognized myself, my husband, my mother, brother and best friend. And Leman breaks it down without using psychological jargon and without assuming his answer is the last word.
