Customize Your Clothes A Head to Toe Guide to Reinventing Your Wardrobe

This book is a comprehensive look at a variety or techniques and types of refashioning your existing wardrobe or to make a statement through your clothes. The techniques are really amazing, their inspiration gallery is fantastic, and the tutorials are step by step photo accounts of what to do and how to protect yourself from any possible hazards. Truly a great DIY book with so much information to offer, I can't wait to use some on my next projects. I really love the way the author mentions, don't copy the artists works you find here, make your own twist on things, I really appreciate that. Really making your fashion statement through your clothes should truly be an expression of who you are, and the book gives a great way to accomplish those goals!

Would It Kill You to Stop Doing That
by

Not a bad book, not a good book. It promises to be a modern guide to manners, but seemed to me to just be an account of the authors quest to seek manners and to try to improve his own. It really gave no practical advice, just the authors own wandering manner adventures, which are rather entertaining. Just not what I expected.

Making Flowers from Wool

From the thin magazine bound style of the book I wasn't really expecting much from this book, but I think I received it in abundance. Twenty-four pages with many hand drawn illustrations are all the "how to" this book offers, it then offers twice as many (forty-eight, I counted) pages of "flower gallery" photos. While the instructions were excellent I would have liked to have seen more techniques. While granted it's not a hard craft to grasp the basics of, I just feel that the book is more form less substance. The pages are very pretty and it's good for a quick look, or inspiration photos. Honestly though, it felt like a DIY forum post
