I was randomly search Powell's shelves for something new. With todays overly zealous vampiric obsessed meda, it was refreshing to find Paranormalcy. It has supernaturals, sure. But It's sarcastic and witty take on this genre is, well, refreshing.

I love this book. The character development is wonderful a very well balanced. It draws you in and makes you care about what is happening to the characters and the world they live in. Also for the first time in many many years I have not been able to predict the plot twists and outcomes. It made it seem like I was truly a part of this story.
