Excellent book about integrating more local foods into our diet. Written by a Eugene author, it is very relevant to the PNW fruits, vegetables, grains and beans available.

Wildflowers of the Pacific Northwest

Moving to a country property 2 years ago, we have found this book to be a treasure. We also take it along on road trips from the coast to the desert in Oregon, Washington and California. There is a broad range of flowers covered, the photographs are beautiful and it is user friends, categorized in an easy to follow color section format. Of course not every flower imaginable is in this book but most of them are! This is a must have for the rural property homeowner and the traveler that says "Hey, what is that flower?"
