Echo

I absolutely loved this book! Echo by Pam Muñoz Ryan is an amazing book. It is a story that starts off with a story needing to be written and follows a harmonica on its journey to touch people’s lives. It takes place in the 1930’s and is about a German boy in Nazi Germany who doesn’t understand the changes that is happening in his country, two orphaned brothers in Pennsylvania just trying to stay together, and a little girl with brown skin in California trying to understand what it means to support the country when the country doesn’t support her. This book faces hard issues like why the all the Japanese Americans in California were put into internment camps, but also what family means and what we are willing to do for family. All these stories are tied together with the harmonica. As a musician, I loved this story because I was able to understand what music meant to each of them, but this story is so well told and beautiful that you don’t have to play an instrument to be touched by the story. It is also loved how this is historical fiction but also has magical realism. This book is intended for younger readers but I still thoroughly enjoyed reading it and this is a book for everyone.

Legend: Legend #1
by
Marie Lu

Legend by Marie Lu is about a criminal named Day and the person hunting him June. June has her own personal reasons for hunting Day, he killed her brother. But did he... This book is set in the future after an apocalyptic event that causes the US to split into to separate warring countries. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a fun, action-packed, distopian quick read. I really liked how everything was explained about the split, how the people did not know anything about the split, and how the people were brainwashed.I also liked how when the character's in the book got injured they did not recover super fast, they recovered normally.

This book taught me so much. I never knew what happened in Russia during world war two and this book did a very good job explaining it. I also really liked the story. This book is about a girl who is taken away with her family to a Russian concentration camp. This is her story of survival and how she made it threw.

This is an Amazing book. This book changed me because I will probably never find a book as good as this book. This book is about a girl named Leisel. This book takes place in world war 2 and is narrated by Death. One reason I love this book so much is because of the character Death and the way he sees humans. The way he sees humans is a different perspective then I have ever seen. Also the way Markus Zusak has with words. He creates buetiful things with words. It is also amazing the way that Death narrorates the book because he will tell you things that are very true but you have never thought about.
