This is not the typical book I would read, but I heard the author in a piece on National Public Radio (NPR) and was captivated. The NPR story was so much fun that I bought the book on a lark. I absolutely loved it, and I guarantee you will never look at history the same way again. Enjoy.

Nuclear Power Is Not The Answer
by
Helen Caldicott
MaggieBurlVT
, August 21, 2006
Dr. Caldicott's thorough command of the subject is evident in this book. During the 1970's [a]Dr. Caldicott[/a] made all of us aware of radioactive fallout. Now Dr. Caldicott once again uses her medical background to show why generating electricity by using [kw]nuclear power[/kw] is the worst choice we could make. It is time to turn down the thermostat, conserve energy in every way possible and fund the develpment of environmentally compatible energy sources. Read this book as soon as possible to know why [t]Nuclear Power Is Not the Answer[/t], and pass it on.
