Every year, the booksellers at Powell’s submit their Top Fives: their five favorite books that were released in 2023. A friend handed me a copy of this book because she thought I might like it based upon the Cover Art... She was WRONG! I didn't like it... I LOVED IT !!! The protagonist is Very Kick Ass, but there's some fallibility to her as well. If I were a woman, I'd wanna be Devi Morris, but since I'm a man, I'd like her for my Girlfriend (Ooops... Did I say that out-loud?)!

As a very young child, I loved to read an old battered copy of Barnaby & Mr O'Malley... When I was in my 30's, I acquired a set of the Ballentine pocketbook editions of Banaby, whereupon I quickly turned them also into battered condition. Now as I approach 55 yrs of yrs. of age, Barnaby is about to re-enter my life. It will be a Joyous occasion!!! If you've never had the opportunity to meet Barnaby or his cigar smoking Fairy God Father, this is your chance. Written as a keen political satire rolled into a young boys wild imaginings, drawn with whimsy in a clean, uncluttered style, Barnaby is a pure delight for a kid of any age!
