This was quite interesting. Books like this, which are basically a "list" of historic events, can be rather dull. But this book is well written and a good read. My only "complaint", if you can even call it that, is that I wish the book had a map inside so I could follow along with where events took place. I did get out my humongous Portland map at one point, but it was rather hard to read with. A very enjoyable and educational read - glad I bought it.

Absolutely loved this book! The mystery is riveting and I didn't guess who dunnit it until the very end. I really liked the two perspectives throughout the novel - that gave the story so much depth. The antics of the two long term "residents" is hilarious and loved the sprinkling of tongue-in-cheek humor throughout. A really great read - so good, in fact, that after borrowing it from the library, I'm now going to buy my own copy. This is a book I'll want to read over and over again.
