I was excited about this book because it is the true story of Morwenna's great-great grandmother who was a Cornish gypsy. The country scenes were beautiful and I felt transported to Cornwall instantly. The characters are really well developed and the whole book is an absolute delight!

Not my usual type of book at all but having read all Morwenna's other books and been enthralled by them I thought I would push myself out of my comfort zone. And I was not disappointed! Brilliant development of characters, funny, sad and very very moving. I will never look at animals in the same way again.
