Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

This is one of our favorite children's books of all time. It has been a standard since our daughter was born, as its bright, bold pictures kept her interest from (almost) day one. And as she has gotten a bit older, she now loves to point out the words, letters, and pictures, asking for a description of what is happening. The simple-yet-engaging rhyme scheme is fun and easy to remember - we find ourselves repeating it all day, but not in an annoying "I wish I could get this out of my head" kind of way! A gem for both children and adults alike.

An eye-opening and well-written observation of how religion and politics have been changing in America over the past few decades. Particularly credible because the author was meticulous with research and documentation. I recommend this book highly!

I just purchased this book for my 1-year-old daughter. The story is engaging and fun, but the real treasures are the illustrations! This is a fabulous addition to our library!

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel dealing with death and what may come next. As someone who is not inherently religious, I find this an interesting alternative to traditional Western ideas of the afterlife. Overall a really nice read!
