Art & Lies

Jeanette Winterson's writing often moves me tears. Indeed, she is one of the few writers who illicit a visceral reaction when reading her works. While I wouldn’t recommend this particular book as the first Jeanette Winterson you read; it’s dense, heavy prose and time-hopping narrative can be a bit much at first, I highly recommend it. It is philosophical and beautifully written; arguably her best book to date.

A great resource for those who are starting to study magic, or want a go to reference for solitary witchery. While I find some of the rituals a bit cumbersome, they offer a good supporting structure for crafting one's own rituals and spells.
