This is a follow up from Secret of the Seventh Son. Very nicely transitioned from teh original story, keeping the same format and formula. It picked up frrom the ending of the first book(hero marries partner, lives happily ever after, oops - problem continues from first book), but the story is full of action and continues seamlessly. Tha action is there, the twists and turns are obvious, but some are not so obvious. I highly recommend this book. I am waiting for the next one to be delivered.

Interesting concept/theory. I like the back-and-forth from the past to the present, tying two(or three)stories together. It weaves intrigue and suspense together, and maybe some historical information that is not widely known. The characters are believable, which is a nice touch, and the author gives them a chance to grow. I highly recommend this book.
