First of all I think it was tacky of the Washington Post reviewer to reveal one of the more entertaining devices used by the author. Glad I don't read the reviews first. I like mysteries and Brits do them well. It was hard to put down and the plot was certainly relevant to the almost current political climate. He did a bit more obscure referencing that I like but, thanks to on-line dictionaries, no longer much of a problem.

My grandson loves this book - he's five and really identifies with Leo because he no longer wants to be called a baby. The story is well written so it is easy to read it over, and over, and over... The art work is both amusing and attractive with wry humor on every page.
