Soul Magic

This is the second in a series of books. While the plot has started to take on a familiar pattern, Lyon does a good job of developing her characters. In this book you start to get a sense of the different personalities between the witches and the witch hunters. The characters are likable and there is a nice balance between paranormal and romance.

Steal The Dragon Sianim 02
by
Patricia Briggs

, November 12, 2008
Rialla was a slave, but not just any slave. She was a slave dancer. After years of bondage, she escapes and finds peace living in a land among mercenaries. Then she agrees to go 'undercover' as as her former slave persona in order to prevent a murderous plot. But being back in Darran she finds herself thinking like a slave again, which may lead to her undoing. Patricia Briggs creates a world full of magic and suspense with strong characters and an ever-twisting plot.
