Mr. Lemoncello's Library Olympics
by

Rating this a 5 because I know it will be as good as the first Mr. Lemoncello book. We are anxiously awainting our signed copy of this book! My daughter has read the first book at least 8 times, now. Very fun and entertaining and love that Mr. Lemoncello gets kids thinking to help solve the mystery!

Great kid's mystery. Love the way the author and illustrator include an extra mystery to solve within the illustrations. A very fun book to start getting kids interested in mystery novels. The characters are interesting and there are many twists and turns.

Very fun kid's mystery. Kids are great at questioning how things work, as does the main characters, Calder and Petra work together to put all of their clues to the test and help to recover a stolen painting. I also like that there are some math puzzles involved and the illustrations have some clues hidden inside to solve an additional puzzle. A nice, clean kid's mystery with lots of twists and turns.

Star Wars Origami
by

Origami-wise, this book is only for the advanced folder. I have pretty good origami skills, but half of the illustrations/steps are missing. Fold lines are missing in the illustrations, it seems to jump and not give all of the steps in many of the projects. I was very disappointed. My daughter loved the Origami Yoda series and was hoping for more of the same, but sadly, this is out of our league. The informational parts are good for kids and other Star Wars fans, however.

My 7 yr old daughter loved this book and just finished the second in the series. A bonus, she got to fold Origami Yoda. She was tickled with the instructions for origami.

Litigators
by
Grisham, John
Dar
, January 08, 2013
I really liked how David was fed up with the high powered system and landed in a place that was barely staying afloat, but made him feel like he was making a difference. With hard work, a vision, and patience, he was able to climb back up on top. And all with a feeling that he was helping people. This book was a little different than Grishams earlier works and very refreshing.
