Synopsis
Differentiated book-It has a historical context with research of the timeIn The Time Machine the author tells the story of how a scientist from the late nineteenth century traveled through time with the intention of knowing the future of mankind, he traveled until 802,701, but far from finding a society in the fullness of its development, sees a world in decline inhabited on its surface by some hedonistic beings, the Eloi, without writing, neither intelligence nor physical strength. The Traveler supposes that humanity must have ended after solving all its existential conflicts, however, shortly after discovering that these beings live with immense fear of the subsoil and darkness. The subsoil is dominated by sinister creatures, the Morlock, another branch of the human species that has become accustomed to living in darkness and goes out at night to feed on the Eloi it captures. The Eloi brothers were descendants of the former capitalists, and the Morlocks of the proletarians, who buried together with the machines and industry, in the novel, end up dominating their former oppressors. The time machine is primarily about the class struggle. Taking things to the extreme, the differences between the working class and the wealthy classes could reach an outcome, in the distant future, in the world described in the book, with two "degenerations" of men without human qualities and facing each other.
