This book has been a joy to read, chiefly due to the very candid manner in which Branagh describes his humble northern Irish roots, and how he went on to attend the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, land film and stage roles throughout his early twenties, and eventually establish his own theatre company. This book is inspirational for any reader, but especially so to those who, like myself, are young and about to enter into a new phase of life. Reading his own accounts of how he struggled with this stage (no pun intended)--and the amazing things he accomplished--leaves a profound mark on anyone who is looking to take that next big step.
