This gem of a book (and series) made a nest in my heart when I was a very small kid and has lived there ever since. For the longest time I didn't even know Le Guin was famous for her fantasy and science fiction; I just knew her as the author of Catwings! I am amazed that these short, tiny books hold so much wonder and imagination, but they are full to bursting with both of those things. Light and fun, I love to recommend these to kids and parents, but also anyone who enjoys Le Guin and wants to see her mind play with the children's book format. To this day, I still get a little giddy taking these off my shelf and flipping through them, even after all the years I've owned them. Recommended By Junix S., Powells.com
