Joanne Fluke has again written not only a cozy mystery, but a very delicious recipe book. The recipes are great. However, the mystery with Hannah Swensen as Lake Eden's favorite baker and cookie shop owner is the real jewel. Hannah definitely has her hands full with her cat, family, and the two men in her life. When there is a murder, and obviously Lake Eden is one of the murder capitols of Minnesota, Hannah is right there to help solve it. This time when the minister Bob's friend Matthew comes to fill in for Bob while he goes on his honeymoon, Matthew is murdered. Hannah feels responsible since he was eating a piece of cake she made when the deed was done. This time there is a witness, a mynah bird named Jacob. Hannah really has her hands full solving the murder, baking cookies, and keeping up with the two men in her life, Norman and Mike. There does seem to be a speed bump in her road to romance, since Bev, a former classmate of Norman's has joined his practice. I always love these books.
