This book is honestly one of the strangest I have read. Not going to lie. I LOVE Crowder, desperately, and this book was definitely strange like him. It's divided into different sections, some on the history of blue grass which was kind of interesting, some on like the personal experience of the two writers, and some on these stories... These crazy stories. I haven't really experienced a horrid tragedy, so maybe I just wasn't deep enough to understand the stories, but yeah. They were definitely a little strange to me. They also had parts where they had like im conversations which was interesting.
Overall it was just kind of a quirky book, and the authors were kind of using it, I think, to gain some closure and heal a little deeper and help others do the same. So I respect that, even if I didn't really get it, there were parts I did enjoy, parts I didn't. It is vastly different from praise habit, so don't get into this expecting another praise habit. Okay? Okay. ;) It wasn't a bad book, it was just a little out there to me and maybe I'm just not deep enough to understand. :)
