About the Author

`	The ET74 , January 31, 2013 BIRTH OF AN EMPIRE is the first in a series of four books by Conn Iggulden (The Khan series) devoted to the history-based fiction about the life and conquests of Gheghis Khan and his descendants in the 13th century. These books are fascinating and entertaining page-turners about the life and times of the Mongol people whom history sometimes incorrectly refers to as "the Tartars." The other books in this series are, "Genghis: Lords of the Bow," "Ghenghis:Bones of the Hills," "Khan: Empire of Silver." I had some difficulty finding these books despite their recent date of publishing (2007 to 2010) but the effort was well worth it!
