Synopsis
Kevin Oderman writes about the provisional way things fit together in a sundered world, where the felt affinities between things are endangered. Construction of a Morris chair, traveling in Greece and Turkey, moving into a new house, watching a bulldozer upend a tree -- all provide him with opportunities to ponder the world free of the besetting distractions of contemporary life. How all of it fits together and how Oderman finds his place in it -- this is the subject of his meditations.
