The author is extremely qualified to write this book and it is an important work. He makes excellent points and concludes with excellent suggestions for reform. There are 5 very useful appendices. Everyone interested in mental health should read the book. My only criticisms are that there is no bibliography and that there is only a brief mention of cognitive therapy, which deserves far more discussion. Otherwise, highly recommended.
