Synopses & Reviews
In the near-future of this television series, the Taelons have come from a galaxy far away to become our "companions" -- for better or worse. In the course of an archeological dig lead by Waneta Young, a bit of pottery is unearthed, and inside is a strange crystal. As fate dictates, this crystal is of alien origin and holds a tremendous power that could destroy the Taelons. When in the hands of anybody but its Cherokee guardians (from whom Young is unknowingly descended), the crystal transforms its bearer into a terrifying monster out of Cherokee legend.
As Taelons and humans alike seek to possess the power of the crystal, the crystal indeed falls into the wrong hands. In a near-cataclysmic meeting, the Taelons and their human protectors, Liam Kincaid and Lili Palmer, join as one to fight the monster. But it is Young who saves the Taelons and humanity from near destruction by reaching back into her Native American past to find the monster's weakness and finally destroy it.
