Christians and Catholics Will Come Away With A Greater Understanding Of Leadership
“The path to saintliness and leadership is a road less traveled because it is no walk in the park; but it is, nonetheless, a road that we are all called to take.”
There are many books on leadership. There are many Christian books on leadership. However, there is usually a missing ingredient – Jesus the ultimate leader and the added bonus here, of what can the saints teach us.
This is not your typical view of leadership. Any follower of Christ knows we are called to something more. No, most of us wouldn’t consider striving for sainthood, but neither did the saints, yet we are called to be leaders. Gonzalvo masterfully has written this unique and thought-provoking prospective teaching that leadership and saintliness goes hand in hand and how we must strive to attain both. What I originally thought was just a Catholic prospective, proved me wrong, as there is something here for anyone who is a follower of Jesus Christ. I’ve read many books on leadership only to come away disappointed. This however, is more than I could have hoped for. Gonzalvo doesn’t just teach us about the saints, but becomes our mentor, inspiring us to become more. His writing style is light and simple enough for anyone to understand. He creatively combines Catholic and Christian teachings to give us, the reader the ultimate leadership guide. This has become my favorite leadership book and one that I will be referring to over and over again. Whether you are Christian or Catholic you will come away with a better understanding of what leadership truly means. Highly recommended must read on leadership.
