Each page radiates a quiet drama as one after another, the jungle inhabitants indulgently express their affection for the irresistible baby. . . . Preschoolers will take pleasure in joining the conversely shrinking animal menagerie in wishing the not-so-little Little Gorilla a happy birthday."
