About the Author
Horticulturist, garden designer and writer, Erica Glasener is the co-author with Walter Reeves of the Georgia Gardener’s Guide and Month-by-Month Gardening in Georgia and the author of Proven Plants Southern Gardens, all with Cool Springs Press. She writes an online garden column for The Atlanta Journal- Constitution and a bimonthly column for Southern Lady magazine. Nationally she is known as the host of HGTV’s “A Gardener’s Diary.” Since 1995 she has introduced her audience across the country to horticulture professionals, specialty plant growers, hobby gardeners, landscape architects, artists and many more in the gardening world through her popular TV show. Walter Reeves is a native Georgian. He grew up in rural Fayette County, where he gained lots of practical knowledge about plants. His horticulture career began at the University of Georgia Extension, where he served for 29 years. Best known to Atlanta-area listeners as the radio host of "The Lawn and Garden Show with Walter Reeves", he also reaches gardeners through his weekly columns in the Atlanta Journal Constitution.Walter helps gardeners throughout the state as the host of Gardening in Georgia, shown weekly on Georgia Public Broadcasting. Walter is the co-author of the Georgia Gardener’s Guide, Month-By-Month Gardening in Georgia, and the Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Book.
