Five Book Friday: In Memoriam
(0 comment)

It’s a list that, when put together, shows just how varied and interesting the book tastes of Powell’s booksellers are. I was given the original of this book by my then boss, Gregory Baldwin, Architect, back in the 80's. It is one of my prized possessions. Through pictures and dialog, this book takes you back to the late 1800's and the magnificent buildings and homes of the rich and famous during the growth years of Portland, Oregon. The pictures are dynamic and the descriptions complete. A revised edition would be the finishing touch to update my collection.
