This is a really useful book for cooking on a budget - for stretching your dollar. Simple to read, and easy to understand recipes, and the wide-toothed binding lets the book lay flat on the counter - making it much easier to read when your hands are full! It also includes a section on making non-edible, and edible gifts such as quick mixes in a jar. Not a beans and veggie book only. Plenty of bread and meat recipes too.
It would be a great 'second' cookbook for those who've learned the difference between a frying pan and a saucepan. :-)
